2012 SM Youth Star Audition [SYDNEY]

So today, on the 1st of September 2012, my sister and I went to Strathfield town hall to participate in the SM Youth Star Auditions. Since we were in the early batch, our time slot was at 1pm. So after some pushing, we got into the waiting room after 15 minutes. We filled out application forms, got numbers (mine was B60, my sister's A119) and then sat down to wait.

So we waited and waited...

Until around 3:30pm, it was my turn. I went before my sister, so I went into the room. It was B41 to B60 as one batch, so I was last. The twenty of us went into the Audition room where there was a camera, two judges, and two staff. The first 10 lined up by the wall, and the other 10 waited. When it was your turn, you had to step to the marker line and sing, or dance, or act, or model. So I waited for my turn, and when it was, it was scary... I really stuffed up because I was straining my voice so hard. I don't know what the judges were thinking because I was looking at the camera. Afterwards, they asked B58 to stay behind, she was a girl from my school. She's really pretty and sang well, and she got a callback! I'm happy for her though sad that I know I didn't make it. But there is still a chance, if they look at my video and like it, they will email me within a month.

So then it was my sister's turn, so while she was having her audition, a girl from my batch, who did acting put on sunglasses and Gangnam-styled down the alleyway. Everyone cheered and clapped, and at the back of the alleyway, she struck a pose and then left. She's really fun, I should have gotten her name...

But overall, it was fun though a rather tedious day. When I went outside after finishing my audition... boy was I glad to be early. It was now 4pm, and the line outside the waiting room stretched the entire block. Wow...

And your singing has improved so much from when you debuted. I downloaded all of your Immortal Song 2 performances and put them on repeat just to listen to your heavenly voice.


I can't believe you're already 19 oppa. It seems like only yesterday you were the cute 14 year old dancing replay on the big stage. You're almost legal oppa! 20 years old in international age next year, but you're already 20 years old in Korean age.

"Only Tears" by Infinite: Piano Sheet Music

Alright, first things first, I DID NOT PLAY THIS BY EAR. A YouTube Channel, by the name of "kdw7575" created it. She uploaded a video of the piano sheet music which I used, and created using 'Finale Notepad'. She did upload them, however she probably lives in Korea, by how everything is in Korean. And she uploaded it on cafe.naver. I tried going there, I couldn't get it, and I didn't understand anything either. But I think you need to log in to get it, and I think that only Koreans can create an account. (?)


So I DID NOT create this! kdw7575 did. She is amazing, she has loads of piano covers. This is not mine! If she one day says that she did not wish for these sheets to be uploaded elsewhere, I will be taking them down because THEY ARE NOT MINE. Got it? Not mine! Disclaminer! Once again, I do not take credit for this (except for the transcribing bit, took me a while), it is completely hers! I did this completely for the purpose of those who want it, I do not know this person at all, and because not everyone has the software for it. Whew disclaiming finished ^^

To the beautiful you

As you know, Kai, Chanyeol, Suho, D.O, Sehun, Lay, Luhan and Kris are confirmed to be in 'To the Beautiful you' (We don't know about Baekhyun yet. Tao, Xiumin and Chen so far aren't in it). But what about the parts that they are playing? Well, here's the lowdown of the rumours. Note that all the dot points below are RUMOURS

• Kris is playing the role of Sulli's older brother from America who comes to visit her
• Luhan and Kris will be in Dorm 1, or the "Sports Dorm"
• Sehun, Kai, Lay and Baekhyun will be in Dorm 2, or the "Normal Dorm"
• Chanyeol, Suho and D.O will be in Dorm 3, or the "Art Dorm"
• Kwanghee is playing the leader of the "Art Dorm" (Oscar XD)
• Infinite's L is playing the role of Taiki Kayashima, the mysterious boy who sees auras and ghosts

Well, I hope these rumours are true! I can't wait to see it! Ok, for the lowdown on the setting of Hana Kimi, cos it's been so long since I've read/watched it, I need to refresh my memory.


The school is divided into 3 dorms, and inter-dorm rivalries are a given. Dorm 1 is the sports dorm, where the residents have gotten in via sport scholarships. Dorm 3 is the art dorm, where residents have gotten in for intelligence and art scholarships. And Dorm 2 is a combination of the other 2 dorms, which is where our main character Mizuki (Jaehee in the Korean version, played by Sulli) lives, sharing a room with Sano (Played by Minho) live as well as Nakatsu (played by Hyunwoo). And of course they fall for her without knowing that she's a boy.


Now to some complaints and worries. You know how Korea is basically very homophobic? And Umeda, the doctor is gay, and in the J-drama, they let him be gay and stuff. Apparently, in the Korean version, it is rumoured that he won't be gay, and will have a love triangle with 2 female teachers. And also, in the actual story, Mizuki doesn't have a rival. But in the K-drama, she is going to be having a rival (played by Kim Jiwon from High Kick 3). So... how much is the K-version going to differentiate from the actual story?


LOL when this started I was like

1. Korean version of Hana Kimi? Meh
2. Boys over flowers director is directing it? Sounds like it's going to be good, might watch.
3. Minho and Sulli are staring in it? Ok, this sounds interesting now.
4. EXO is it in?! Holy shit WHEN DOES THE FIRST EPISODE COME OUT? I need!!!

Oh and the first episode is rumoured to air on August the 8th!

SEXY, FREE AND SINGLE, I'M READY TOO, BINGO

O.M.G. 'Sexy, Free and Single' is finally released! And I'm loving it. I've put it on replay, and have seen it like 10 times already, it's that awesome! I think it's my new favourite Super Junior song. And Kangin! You're back, how I've missed you. Ok, now to saying somethings I really loved, and some funny bits I noticed.

I absolutely ADORE Sungmin's blonde hair. I love it! It kinda reminds me of what Xia did for 'Tarantellegra' Amazing, totally rocked it. And Yesung, his eyes, I never noticed how cute they were. And the burgundy hair did wonders for him. I'm really sad that Shindong didn't get any lines, and Donghae got quite a lot of screen time compared to usual. And this is old new, but seriously, SM recycling their shirts much? The singlet with a square on it that Eunhyuk is wearing is the same that Sehun wears in History. I think it was history. But yea...

Ok, funny things. When it's Kangin's part, the guys sitting at the front turn their heads to the camera. And Ryeowook's sexy gaze was so cute <3 and at the clapping part, I think it's the second chorus? But Kangin is at the back and his clapping is adorable! Gah! I have to learn this dane, ok imma go rape the replay button right now. Well and refresh button to boost the views.

Super Junior, I'm so happy with this video. You're finally out of the box. Well except for one scene which I'm pretty sure is the set from Bonamana. Yea... SM... well at least the entire MV is not shot in the box. It's a start ^^
